The New Grill
It's April 2006... our two days of Spring here in North Texas are over, and it's Summer time! That means it's time to trade in the old kettle-style rusty charcoal grill for a new one - a gas grill suitable to cook for a crowd. One Saturday, we went to Home Depot and Lowe's to scout out grills and make the big decision based on carefully-selected criteria: it had to have a side burner, durable cooking surface, and not cost too much! We decided on a Char-Broil Performance Series with cast iron cooking grates, four primary burners and a side burner for a total of 675 sq. in. of cooking surface.
So on Sunday, Ginger's mom and dad came over with the truck and we hauled our new purchase home. Always looking for the deal, Neil was able to get a free grill cover since the already-assembled model had some scratches on the front!
